The Jaecoo J8 is the flagship Jaecoo SUV: a 2.0-litre turbocharged petrol engine with 183 kW (249 PS) and 385 Nm, an eight-speed automatic, 0–100 km/h in 8.8 seconds and a 200 km/h top speed. Continuous damping control suspension and a 20-inch wheel-and-tyre package are standard on both variants.
The 2WD is a five-seater with leather, a 12-speaker Sony system and 6 airbags. The AWD adds torque-vectoring all-wheel drive with seven drive modes, a six-seat cabin with captain seats and the front passenger Queen Seat, Nappa leather, a 14-speaker Sony system with headrest speakers, 10 airbags and a two-tone roof.
