Omoda | Jaecoo Malaysia marks two years with 32,000 deliveries and a top-five ranking

Omoda | Jaecoo Malaysia celebrated its second anniversary on 18 July 2026 with more than 32,000 vehicles delivered since the Jaecoo J7 launched in July 2024, including over 8,100 in the first half of 2026. The brand is now the fifth best-selling car brand in Malaysia. The Jaecoo J5 passed 2,500 deliveries within four months of its March launch, and electrified deliveries rose to 2,300 units in the first half, up 843% on a year earlier.

Two years after the first Jaecoo J7 was handed over in Malaysia, the brand has grown into one of the country's top five by sales. The anniversary event on 18 July, themed "Beyond 30,000, Celebrating Every Journey | One Million Forward", included a ceremonial handover of 20 new Jaecoo J5s and followed the global milestone of one million Omoda and Jaecoo vehicles sold worldwide in three years.

The numbers

  • More than 32,000 vehicles delivered in Malaysia since July 2024.
  • More than 8,100 deliveries in the first half of 2026, placing the brand fifth in the national sales ranking.
  • Jaecoo J5: over 2,500 deliveries within four months of its March 2026 launch.
  • New energy vehicles (PHEV and EV): 2,300 deliveries in the first half of 2026, against 244 a year earlier.

Every new Jaecoo and Omoda comes with a 7-year or 150,000 km manufacturer warranty, whichever comes first. Plug-in hybrid and EV models add a separate 10-year or 200,000 km warranty on the high-voltage battery.
